“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, April 20, tease that Sharon (Sharon Case) will try to get some answers about Nurse Stevens. At the athletic
He’s the nurse’s boyfriend and he hints that she can be unpredictable. Sharon seems curious when he admits Nurse Stevens inexplicably broke up with him around Halloween. She wanted to get back together a few weeks later. Nearby, the preparations get underway for Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) surprise shower. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) takes Abby upstairs to a suite and they make love.
Downstairs, everyone gets the presents ready and Max (Jared Breeze) takes the next step in his devious plot. He finds some fishing line and a roll of tape before sneaking off. Meanwhile, Sharon returns home and confides in Sage (Kelly Sullivan). Sharon mentions the nightmares she keeps having about Fairview. Sage says she’s been having odd dreams, too. They discuss Patty (Stacy Haiduk) and Sage points out that she’s not really a violent person. There had to be something that brought on that attack against Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush).
Sharon feels like something’s off about the day Sully was born. She explains her suspicions regarding Nurse Stevens and confesses that Dylan (Steve Burton) wants her to let all of this go. Sage chimes in with a comment about the lullaby Patty sang. She thinks she can help Sharon uncover more news.
They can work together to find some peace. Back at the club, Stitch heads downstairs and finds Max. He lets his son know he’s proud of him for how he’s treating Abby. Mischievous Max says Abby deserves it. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) makes up an excuse to get Abby downstairs for the party. Max rushes over and checks something out by the staircase. Abby comes around the corner and descends. Her foot catches on Max’s booby trap and she cries out as she tumbles down.
Everyone panics and runs to Abby’s side. Max stands nearby and gives a slight smirk. Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Dylan will express concern over Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) drinking. In a suite, Dylan asks Nikki about the scratches and bruises on her face. Nikki tries to fib, but Dylan knows what’s up.
He’s worried and wants her to move in. Nikki isn’t sure that’s a good idea. Sharon and Nikki will undoubtedly clash. Dylan keeps at it until Nikki caves. In prison, Adam (Justin Hartley) grills Victor (Eric Braeden) about getting him fired. He mentions Victor’s meeting with Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva). Adam demands to know if Victor used Luca to knock him out of his job. Victor claims he just told Luca to stay away from Summer (Hunter King). Adam doesn’t buy it. He thinks Victor is just scheming to get him back at Newman Enterprises. Victor brings up the idea of another plan to help out the company. Adam isn’t interested. He’s hung up on making Victor admit that he was responsible for his firing. Victor gets fed up and starts ranting about Paragon. He feels Adam is guilty of putting his father behind bars and he should wallow in that guilt.
Victor heads back to his cell and sulks. Adam sees Dr. Meredith Gates (Alicia Coppola) as he’s about to exit. He recognizes her and realizes she was with her dad at a fundraiser. Dr. Gates confirms it, but says she’s not close to her father anymore. Adam feels like Victor doesn’t care about his family at all, but Dr. Gates thinks he does. Victor just has a tough time showing it. Adam urges Dr. Gates to watch her back when it comes to Victor. He knows just how manipulative Victor can be.
