'HOLLYOAKS' (NEW!) SPOILERS: ELLIE NIGHTINGALE GETS VIOLENT WITH FREDDIE; IS THIS THE END OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP? - PROMOTIONAL PHOTOS
THESE BRAND NEW HOLLYOAKS PICTURES SHOW THE SHOCKING MOMENT THAT ELLIE NIGHTINGALE LOSES IT AND LASHES OUT AT HER BOYFRIEND FREDDIE ROSCOE.
Ellie (Sophie Porley) has been struggling for months after her traumatic night with Nick Savage - and it's Freddie who bears the brunt of her anger in heated scenes next week.
Life for Ellie gets even worse over the next few episodes as she continues to worry about her mom Marnie's supposed 'brain tumor', unaware that she's actually lying about being ill to gain sympathy.
There's also a third problem on the way for Ellie too (stay tuned for more on that), which leaves her in a difficult predicament and wondering what to do next.
With her troubles mounting up, Ellie gets drunk at The Dog next week and lashes out at Freddie - blaming him for all of the difficulties she's going through right now.
Ellie then goes a step further by punching Freddie, shocking even herself and leaving him livid over her strange mood swings.
We can see that Ellie immediately regrets her bad behavior, but with Freddie starting to lose patience, it could be too late for apologies.
Hollyoaks fans know that Ellie's troubles all started in September when a gritty storyline saw her spend a drunken night with newcomer Nick - only to be left traumatized the next morning when she couldn't remember consenting to sex.
Cast and crew have been working with Rape Crisis and youth charity The Mix while devising the plot, which is a long-running storyline for the show.
Watch Hollyoaks as it airs these scenes on Tuesday, January 17 at 7 pm on E4 and Wednesday, January 18 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
