General Hospital Comings and Goings | GH March Update!
Nicolas Bechtel excited fans when he and his on-screen grandmother Genie Francis exchanged tweets suggesting he might be back on the "General Hospital" soon as Spencer Cassadine.
Bechtel most recently appeared as Spencer last summer when his Uncle Valentin attempted to kidnap him. Shortly after, Laura made the decision to enroll him in boarding school overseas for his safety. With spring break coming, could Spencer be coming home? Thatsup.info will keep you updated.
Rumors have been circulating since late January that Jane Elliot is planning to retire from "General Hospital." Elliot has played the role of Tracy Quartermaine off and on since 1978. Last April the actress told Michael Logan of TV Insider that she would not be renewing her contract and was looking forward to retiring. Her current contract expires this spring. There has yet to be any official confirmation from the actress or show that she intends to depart. However rumors have been swirling that an epic storyline arc has been drafted to explain the character's exit from Port Charles, which may play out during May sweeps.
During a question and answer session with "General Hospital" Executive Producer Frank Valentini on Twitter, Valentini confirmed that Ingo Rademacher will soon return as Jax Jacks in order to help answer questions regarding the Nelle storyline. No airdate was revealed, but Thatsup.info will keep you updated when it is released.
Ingo Rademacher last appeared on General Hospital the week of November 28, 2016. He confessed to his ex-wife Alexis Davis that he had arranged the purchase of Nelle's kidney from her father, Frank Bennet.
"General Hospital" released a teaser video featuring Ian Buchanan suggesting that fans not miss the Wednesday March 8 episode because, "You never know who might turn up." As Thatsup.info previously reported, Ian Buchanan last aired as Duke Lavery in May 2016. Duke's ghost visited Anna to help her get over her grief from his death in May of 2015. Currently Olivia Jerome is attempting to bring Duke back to life by placing his soul into the body of his son Griffin Monroe.
Thatsup.info's exclusive: ABC's "GH" has cast several actors to play small upcoming parts in March. While some roles are for one day only, others may be recurring. The air dates may be off due to past preempts of the show, or because scenes were cut. On March 3 Maurice Whitfield plays Officer Andrews.
Troy Caylak booked a recurring role on "GH." Lauren Whitehouse plays a waitress on March 9.

Ben Baur debuted on February 27 as Noah, a Metro Court employee.
Oliver Rayon plays a delivery man on the February 1 episode. He previously played a bellhop on "Days of our Lives" in 2016, and a Forrester Boutique clerk on "Bold and the Beautiful" in 2013.
Kimberly McCullough returns to "General Hospital" as Robin Scorpio-Drake on Monday February 20 due to her mother Anna falling sick with a mysterious ailment. McCullough recently returned to Port Charles briefly for Maxie and Nathan's wedding at the end of December through mid-January, as Thatsup.info previously reported.
Updated: Hillary B. Smith's first airdate on "General Hospital" will be March 6.
On January 31, Thatsup.info reported that Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, shared news with fans that One Life to Live alum, Hillary B. Smith is making an appearance on General Hospital. Details in the link.
J. Downing made his debut on "General Hospital" on February 13 as Karl Browning, a WSB agent who knew Anna and Valentin in the past. Downing previously played Clarence on "The Young and the Restless" in 2014. He also has appeared as Governor Bill Wagner in "Scandal," and Agent Sherman Catlett in the television series "Viper."
Ciera Payton will appear on "General Hospital" the week of February 13 as Grace, a woman from Curtis' (Donnell Turner) past. Thatsup.info readers may recognize her from her role as Officer Martine Kent on "Days of our Lives" back in 2012. She's also had recurring roles on "Graceland" and "Bad Teacher." She also played a reporter on an episode of "All My Children" in 2008.
"General Hospital" is seeking to cast a Middle Eastern female for a new recurring role to start shooting in March according to Soap Opera Digest. The female is described as being beautiful, courageous, tenacious and between the ages of 27 and 34.
Ryan Carnes returns to "General Hospital" on February 6 when Port Charle's doctor Lucas Jones catches his husband Brad (Parry Shen) up to no good. Thatsup.info previously reported that Carnes last appeared on December 27 when Lucas translated the Chinese words on the take-out bag to mean resurrection.
