Meanwhile 10% voted, Maybe
After numerous primetime appearances, deVry got his start in daytime with a small role on the GH spinoff Port Charles playing Tim Dolan in 2002. Then, in 2003 the actor began playing the evil Michael Cambias on All My Children, earning himself a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor. From 2006-08, deVry starred on CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful as Storm Logan.
But in 2013, deVry joined the cast of GH as Derek Wells, a media mogul who was later revealed to be mob boss Julian Jerome! With connections to the Port Charles mob scene as well as his ex, Alexis, and children Sam and Lucas, Julian has been involved in plenty of exciting storylines over the years.
However, events in recent episodes led fans to fear the worst for both deVry and his alter ego as his psychotic sister Olivia returned from the dead and plotted his destruction. And deVry didn't help when he stirred the pot by teasing a fan asking if Julian was okay with the response, “I could tell you that… but…” Concerned, the fan asked, “You’re leaving the show?” to which deVry replied, “I don’t think that was the question.”
But GH fans can take heart that deVry isn’t planning on going anywhere anytime soon. In fact, he’s been publicizing multiple upcoming GH fan events, including one he’ll be attending in Austin, TX which doesn’t take place until October 22!
Because the daytime star knows that the viewers are the lifeblood of the industry. “Big shout out to our GH fans,” deVry tweeted. “You guys just make our day better. True fact.”
