The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Big Reveal in Genoa City
Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) trip to Tokyo expands his horizons in more ways than one. Not only is the trip a game changer for his career, but he’s also getting up close and personal with Juliet (Laur Allen). While he needs his sultry sidekick to help him get over the culture shock and with meetings, he may want to watch how he spends his time. He better not get too close. He wouldn’t want the lines between business and pleasure blurring. Thankfully, Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) a demanding boss and keeping Cane on his toes. The Tokyo deal is a make it or break it one for the business, and Cane better get the contract or else!
Unfortunately, Cane isn’t the only Ashby having trouble keeping things professional! Lily (Christel Khalil) has a massive meltdown when she finds out Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) are going on a date. While she says it’s because she can’t stand Hilary’s invasion into her life, some wonder if it’s really about Jordan. The two were close and flirty at one time, and it seems Lily may not quite be over it.
Meanwhile, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) gets her hands dirty on the set of GC Buzz with a bit of science that may make viewers tune out. The staff collectively holds their breath as they wait to see if ratings will hold as Mariah shows off her darker side and makes the audience squirm.
Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) had a hard time getting his act together, and an even more difficult one building his confidence. He’s still fresh in town and trying to find his footing. He’s not sure where he stands in his family or his place at school. Reed’s life is lonely even though he’s never alone. Thankfully, he does have one thing that brings him joy — his guitar. Reed’s been looking forward to open mic night all week. He has a new song and can’t wait to step on the stage and step into the spotlight.
In fact, he even invites Zoey (Annalisa Cochrane) and some of her friends to watch him play. Unfortunately, bringing them along is going to end up in a massive misunderstanding that’ll lead to one of Reed’s biggest disappointments. Just as Reed gets on stage, the girls start giggling over a meme they find online. Apparently, the joke is so funny the two can’t stop laughing, even when Reed starts to hit the cords. While the girls know they’re laughing at a joke, Reed (and everyone else) thinks they’re laughing at him and he storms out of the bar.
It’s truly a moment that could break a teenage boy. It’s hard enough being an outsider, but feeling mocked by the girl you like can make those feelings 10 times worse. Hopefully, the girls explain what happened soon before his hurt emotions turn into destructive actions!

Y&R preview-alert: Y&R Exclusive Preview for Wednesday, March 8
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) has barely slept since the news came in about Scotty’s (Daniel Hall) kidnapping. The thought of losing Scotty a second time was traumatizing, and Lauren nearly broke down. It took all she had to stay strong and keep fighting all while staying in Genoa City and watching from afar as the rescue attempts were underway.
Thankfully, in just two days Lauren will be able to wrap her arms around her son and know he’s okay. Thanks to Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) bravery and Victor’s (Eric Braeden) big money, Scotty will be back where he belongs and safe from all the threats that nearly cost him his life. However, it’s anyone’s guess how long he’ll stick around.
Scotty is a man who likes to travel the world. He’s spent his adult life in exotic locations, dangerous countries, and war-torn cities. There’s something about the excitement that hooks him in and it’s unlikely he’ll be able to simply walk away. He may love Lauren and his family, but they don’t fulfill him the same way. The only hope Lauren may have of keeping him by her side is if he finally falls in love. He’s never really been around the women of GC and with so many single ladies he’ll have his pick for sure. Lauren may just luck out and end up with a daughter-in-law and maybe even some step-grandkids.
